DECORATION: The rim has an engraved circle and nested triangle motif repeated four times around the vessel. Each central circle has a small open circle within it. The nested triangles contain a single ovals outlined by excised areas, and each oval has a single central engraved spur within it. There are upper scroll fill zones above the nested triangles and they have excised areas and negative ovals within them. A white kaolin clay pigment has been rubbed in the engraved lines.
