DECORATION (INCLUDING MOTIF AND ELEMENTS WHEN APPARENT): The rim panel has an engraved scroll and circle motif repeated three times around the vessel. Each of the central circle elements has a smaller circle inside it that has four pendant triangles on it, and one also has an even smaller central excised dot. The upper and lower scroll dividers—repeated three times—are triangular-shaped, with a sideways negative S-shaped element surrounded by hatched and excised lines.
