DECORATION: The rim has an engraved scroll and semi-circle motif repeated four times around the vessel. Each of the central semi-circle elements have a small cross-hatched semi-circle within them. In three cases, the scroll is defined by one central scroll line, as well as upper and lower scroll fill zones of excised brackets, triangles, and negative ovals, but the fourth scroll has two scroll lines. There is also an interior engraved line at the vessel carination.
