DECORATION (INCLUDING MOTIF AND ELEMENTS WHEN APPARENT): The rim panel has an engraved scroll motif, repeated four times around the vessel, that has hooked arm elements at either end of the scroll. The scrolls are divided from each other by vertical brackets with two projecting spurs. The upper and lower scroll fill zones include vertical to curvilinear engraved lines.

There is also a single horizontal engraved line on the interior vessel surface at the carination.
