DECORATION (INCLUDING MOTIF AND ELEMENTS WHEN APPARENT): The rim panel has an engraved slanting scroll with upper and lower hooked arms that is repeated four times around the vessel. The hooked arm elements are next to vertical bracket dividers. Upper and lower scroll fill zones are marked by engraved lines with small excised pendant triangles or tick marks.
