DECORATION: The rim has an engraved pendant triangle motif that is repeated four times around the vessel. The central elements are two alternating circles and diamonds. The circles have a smaller open circle within them, and that smaller circle has four excised rays. The engraved diamond elements each have a small excised circle with four excised rays. A white kaolin clay pigment has also been rubbed in the engraved lines.
