DECORATION: The rim has an engraved scroll motif repeated four times around the vessel. Each scroll is separated from the other by excised brackets, and the scroll fill zones have excised brackets, triangles, and bisected oval elements. A white kaolin clay pigment has also been rubbed in the engraved lines.
