DECORATION: The rim has an engraved pendant triangle motif repeated four times around the vessel. The four central elements include circles (with an inner excised circle with rays) alternating with diamonds; the diamonds have an inner diamond element with excised rays at the four corners. The upper and lower portions of the motif alternate between excised pendant triangles and scroll fill zones with excised brackets and triangles. A white kaolin clay pigment has been rubbed in the engraved lines on the vessel exterior surface. There is also an interior engraved line at the vessel carination.
