DECORATION: The rim has an engraved circle and nested triangle motif repeated three times around the vessel. The central circles have a smaller central circle and equal arm cross element within them. The nested triangle elements include within them a large negative oval (with an engraved spur) and two small negative circles on either side of the oval. A white kaolin clay pigment has also been rubbed in the engraved lines.
