DECORATION: The rim panel has two distinct motifs that are each repeated four times around the vessel. The first motif includes two large nested ovals within triangles, resembling an “eye,” divided by a cross-hatched bracket. The second motif is comprised of a group of four alternating nested triangles or bisected diamonds. Two of the nested triangles have small hatched triangles within them, a third nested triangle contains an oval or semi-circle, and the four nested triangle contains a semi-circle with a small central circle with excised rays.
