DECORATION: The rim has an engraved circle and nested triangle motif repeated four times around the vessel. Each of the circles have a very small centrally-placed open circle within it. The nested triangle element has an engraved oval within it, and the scroll fill zones above the nested triangles have excised brackets and narrow near-vertical columns. A white kaolin clay pigment has also been rubbed in the engraved lines.
