DECORATION (INCLUDING MOTIF AND ELEMENTS WHEN APPARENT): The rim panel has four sets of engraved nested triangles divided by opposed sets of curvilinear engraved lines. Each nested triangle has a central circle with a small excised dot; the circle is surrounded by a series of vertical to curvilinear engraved lines. Opposite each nested triangle motif are triangular scroll fill zones with vertical to curvilinear engraved lines.
PIGMENT USE AND LOCATION ON VESSEL: red pigment in the engraved lines
