DECORATION (INCLUDING MOTIF AND ELEMENTS WHEN APPARENT): The rim panel has an engraved scroll motif repeated four times around the vessel, with two central elements: diamond in a circle (twice) and hatched brackets (twice). The upper scroll fill zones are plain, while the lower scroll fill zones have ovals and excised vertical lines; the ovals have a single dash within them.
The vessel body has vertical brushing marks, an unusual decorative treatment in Titus phase fine wares.
