DECORATION (INCLUDING MOTIF AND ELEMENTS WHEN APPARENT): The rim panel has an engraved scroll motif repeated four times around the vessel; each scroll ends in upper and lower hooked arms. The scrolls are divided by excised brackets with two negative oval elements. The upper and lower scroll fill zones include excised triangles and brackets as well as a negative oval with a single central excised dot.
PIGMENT USE AND LOCATION ON VESSEL: white pigment in the engraved lines
