DECORATION (INCLUDING MOTIF AND ELEMENTS WHEN APPARENT): The rim panel has an engraved scroll motif repeated four times around the vessel. The scrolls are divided by vertical engraved brackets with a negative S-shaped element within the brackets. The upper and lower scroll fill zones have excised triangles and brackets, as well as negative ovals.
