DECORATION (INCLUDING MOTIF AND ELEMENTS WHEN APPARENT): The rim panel has an engraved continuous scroll motif repeated four times around the vessel. The upper and lower scroll fill zones are divided by sets of closely-spaced vertical engraved lines, and the central part of the scroll is marked by sets of two to three closely-spaced vertical engraved lines that extend from the top to the bottom of the scroll.
