DECORATION (INCLUDING MOTIF AND ELEMENTS WHEN APPARENT): The rim panel has an engraved continuous slanting scroll motif repeated four times around the vessel; the upper and lower parts of the scroll do not reach to the rim or the carination. The upper and lower scroll fill zones have negative oval elements divided by excised brackets.
