DECORATION: The upper rim panel has four broadly-spaced horizontal engraved lines. The lower rim panel has engraved alternate nested triangles and semi-circles that are repeated four times around the rim. Within each nested triangle are two smaller triangles, the innermost of which has a negative oval element created by hatching the corners and sides of the triangle. There is also a single negative oval nestled within two of the triangles. The nested semi-circles have a smaller semi-circle within it. Within that smaller semi-circle is a negative horizontal S-shaped element formed by hatching.
