Description

From repository (Webb 1996): Wide stone blade from Deposit 3, Burial Pit 2, Gahagan Mound. It is made of gray chert, has slightly concave base, rounding sides with greatest width at the base, good tip. Surfaces well worked, shallow flaking and good secondary flaking along edges. Length 15 cm., width at base 7 cm., thickness 9 mm. Slight tort when viewed laterally.

This biface is curated at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum in Shreveport, Louisiana.
