Description

From repository (Webb 1996:124): Wide stone blade from Deposit 3, Burial Pit 2, Gahagan Mound. Made of similar material as 545, same source. It differs in shape from most of these blades in being leaf shaped or a long ovate, widest just below the midpoint. Base squared, tip is keen, faces and edges nicely worked. Length 15.8 cm., width 5.4 cm. maximum, 3.8 at base.

This biface is curated at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum in Shreveport, Louisiana.
