Description

From repository: Chipped stone blade of gray chert, found in above Deposit 3, Burial Pit 2, Gahagan Mound. One of 11 found together. Squared base, no stem, tapers irregularly to point. Large, flat flakes on surfaces, with secondary fine flaking around margins. Length 15.8 cm., width at base 4.1 cm., thickness 6 to 7 mm.

This biface is curated at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum in Shreveport, Louisiana.
