Description

From repository (Webb 1996:130): Large, long stone blade of light gray chert, found further to the left of the left shoulder of Skel. 3, a large male in Burial Pit 2, Gahagan Mound. It is symmetrical, well made with large shallow flaking and fine secondary flaking around the edges. The base is straight and squared, no stem, the sides straight for most of its length, then rounded in to a good tip. Length 19.4 cm., width 5.7 to 6 cm.

This biface is curated at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum in Shreveport, Louisiana.
