Description

From repository (Webb 1996:126): Large blade of similar material to 550, from Deposit 3, Burial Pit 2, Gahagan Mound. Has a similar dark color but is less translucent. Found broken into 3 fragments which readily fit together. The base is mildly concave and the blade edges are mildly curved. All edges are nicely flaked and the tip is sharp. Length is 16.5 cm., width tapers from 5.1 at the base down to the point.

This biface is curated in the Williamson Museum at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
