DECORATION: The body of the vessel has two horizontal engraved lines below the neck as well as two horizontal engraved lines above the base. Between these lines are two arms (upper and lower) of a curvilinear scroll motif that wrap around each other and meet at a small hatched circle. The motif is repeated four times around the body. There are broadened areas of the scroll arms that are filled with cross-hatching. The arms of the scrolls begin at the apex of triangular elements, one or more corners of which are cross-hatched.
