DECORATION: The upper rim panel has three horizontal engraved lines. The lower rim panel has upper and lower hooked arm scrolls that are repeated four times that meet at a central and small excised circle. There are also widened excised areas along both scroll arms. The upper and lower body hooked arm scrolls begin at the apex of triangles with excised corners. In addition to these connected hooked arm scrolls, this vessel has four horizontal hooked arm scrolls that run between the vertical hooked arm scrolls. A white kaolin clay pigment has also been rubbed in the engraved lines.
