DECORATION (INCLUDING MOTIF AND ELEMENTS WHEN APPARENT): The rim panel has a scroll motif repeated four times around the vessel. Each scroll is divided from the other by engraved brackets composed of four arcing lines. The elongated and triangular-shaped scroll fill zones are composed of a series of short curvilinear lines, with a short spur at one end. The end of the scroll hooks around that spur.

There is also a single horizontal engraved line on the interior surface at the carination.
