DECORATION (INCLUDING MOTIF AND ELEMENTS WHEN APPARENT): The rim panel has two engraved circle within circle elements that alternate with two nested diamonds; the nested diamonds have a smaller diamond within them. The inner circle in the circle in circle element has a continuous series of small tick marks.

The nested diamond element is the central feature of horizontal scrolls that extend, but do not touch, the circle in circle elements. Above and below each of the scrolls are small excised pendant triangles.

There is also a single horizontal engraved line on the interior vessel surface at the carination.
