DECORATION (INCLUDING MOTIF AND ELEMENTS WHEN APPARENT): The rim panel is decorated with an engraved continuous scroll motif that is repeated five times around the vessel; the panel is demarcated by single upper and lower horizontal engraved lines. The scroll is marked by a single central scroll line. The upper and lower scroll fill zones are oblong triangle-shaped areas with two negative ovals outlined by cross-hatching. Each oval has a spur or short engraved line in it.
