DECORATION: The rim has an engraved scroll and semi-circle motif repeated two times around the vessel. The central semi-circles have an inner semi-circle with excised tick marks on it, as well as a single short excised vertical line. The upper and lower scroll fill zones have excised tick marks on the outer fill zone or below the rim, and there is a large excised triangle also within the fill zone. A white kaolin clay pigment has also been rubbed in the engraved lines.
