DECORATION (INCLUDING MOTIF AND ELEMENTS WHEN APPARENT): The vessel has a red slip on both interior and exterior vessel surfaces. The red-slipped surface has an engraved motif repeated six times around the vessel rim. The motif consists of upper and lower triangular to curvilinear-shaped areas that end in hooked arm elements. The triangular to curvilinear-shaped areas are filled with cross-hatched lines, and each area has a single negative circle element.
