DECORATION: The rim panel has negative scrolls that are repeated four times around the vessel. The upper and lower scroll fill elements each include three excised brackets and negative ovals, and the ends of the fill elements are hooked arms with tick marks. The central element of the motif is a large negative oval defined by cross-hatched brackets that extend from the rim to the vessel carination.
