DECORATION (INCLUDING MOTIF AND ELEMENTS WHEN APPARENT): There are three horizontal engraved lines at the top of the vessel rim and two horizontal engraved lines at the bottom of the rim. Between them are six panels with three distinct sets of engraved elements. the first set of panels are marked by a large appliqued node at the top of the panel (these large appliqued nodes have drilled holes, 2.8 mm in diameter, in them) vertical engraved lines with outward-pointing excised tick marks, and sets of concentric semi-circles with an inner excised vertical line. The second set of panels have multiple and closely-spaced vertical engraved lines on either side of the panel, with concentric semi-circles and a single triangular element between the vertical lines; the triangle element and one of the semi-circular engraved lines have outward-pointing excised tick marks. The last set of rim panels is defined by multiple and closely-spaced vertical (one line has outward-pointing excised tick marks) and curvilinear engraved lines, and between these lines are concentric semi-circles and triangle elements in alternate directions from those in the second panel. The triangle element and one of the concentric semi-circles have excised tick marks on them.
The vessel body is decorated with an engraved continuous curvilinear scroll and circle motif repeated four times around the vessel. The central circle element has been divided into four quadrants with hatched lines pitched in opposite directions; one of the central circles also has excised tick marks. The upper and lower triangular-shaped scroll fill zones are filled with horizontal, diagonal, and curvilinear engraved lines around a series of two or three oval eye or tear-drop decorative elements in each scroll fill zone. The outer engraved line of the scroll fill zone has outward-pointing excised tick marks.
