Description

From repository: Smaller stone blade from Pit 2, Gahagan Mound. Similar in shape to 489, squared base but moderate recurve or lower sides; one side or edge is longer than the other, hence the base is asymmetrical. Made of tan chert, is 10.8 cm. long, central body width 3 cm. and at base 3.5 cm. Thickness 5cm.

This biface is curated at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum in Shreveport, Louisiana.
