DECORATION (INCLUDING MOTIF AND ELEMENTS WHEN APPARENT): The rim has two widely-spaced horizontal engraved lines above a scroll and circle motif repeated six times around the vessel. The central element in the scroll is a large cross-hatched circle. Adjacent scroll fill zones consist of two cross-hatched engraved triangles pendant from either the lower of the horizontal engraved lines below the lip or from the lower part of the motif itself.
