Title
Why Black People Should Track Their Ancestry
Abstract
For too long, many African-Americans have been left to deal with a lifelong question of “where did I come from?” – Many are fine with knowing the small amount of ancestry they do know, others would rather not know the details of slavery that could have existed in their family. However, as African-Americans, we should be more confident in owning all of our history and those that have paved the way for us to go to school vote, have a career, start a business or even become President.
