CONTEXT INFORMATION: From a burial (Burial 3) in a cemetery excavated by Robert Shelton in 1940. Associated vessels in the grave are V-2045, V-2047, and V-2048.

DECORATION: The upper rim panel is plain. The lower rim panel is divided into four rectangular panels by four sets of eight or nine closely-spaced vertical engraved lines; these vertical engraved lines are set underneath each of the rim peaks. Each rectangular panel has a single horizontal engraved line in it, with rows of excised punctations (two panels have two sets of seven excised punctations and the other two panels have sets of six excised punctations) both above and below the horizontal line.
