Description

Huge pile of pulpwood at Southland Paper Mills, Lufkin, Texas - much of which came from National Forest lands in East Texas - This mill started in 1940 as the first newsprint mill in the south, now uses 600 cords of wood daily, producing 360 tons of newsprint paper, 70 tons of paper board and 20 tons of Kraft - Angelina National Forest.
