Bristol County is county along the southwestern coast of England. It has a history of coastal seafaring, with its major port in the City of Bristol, and travel along the River Avon. Many of its notable sites date back to its heyday from the Middle Ages through the 19th century: Bristol Cathedral and Great Gatehouse, Brunel's Clifton Suspension Bridge, Goldney Hall, Kings Weston House, Llandoger Trow, St. Bartholomew's Hospital, and St. James's Priory.
