Each motif has two broadly spaced opposed semi-circular engraved lines that extend from the top of the vessel body to the base. There are concentric semi-circles attached to both opposed engraved lines, as well as a central engraved circle (with repeated circular lines) with spurs; the outermost concentric semi-circle has spurs or large ticks on it.
