Description

From repository (Webb 1996:126): Blade of translucent darker flint, from Deposit 3, Burial Pit 2, Gahagan Mound. The material is similar to #533 and it similarly shows superior workmanship, with excellent edges and good tip; the base is straight and the blade edges are recurved, slightly asymmetrical. Length is 12.5 cm., width 2.5 to 3 cm.

This biface is curated at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum in Shreveport, Louisiana.
