About the Festival
The Festival of New American Plays, a unique addition to SFA Theatre's Mainstage Series, was created in 1998 by Jack Heifner, playwright-in-residence. This festival, which takes place during April or May, hosts three or more plays and was initiated so as to bring established writers to SFA.
