Abstract
Design Philosophy: Design is a balance of something aesthetically pleasing and something that meets your needs. It is a balance between hard and soft; dark and light; masculine and feminine; and form and function.

I am Rachel Buquet from McKinney, TX. In life my goal is to be happy and to follow the Lord's plan. I would ultimately love to flip houses and create a brand for myself. I also would love to do design in a charitable way, and travel around the world. After graduation I will be moving back to the Dallas area and looking for commercial design jobs. Design is a powerful thing and it means so much more to me than I can describe! I have wanted a degree in design since I was 10 years old and I am very proud of completing this amazingly challenging and wonderful program here at SFA!
